The Barley Merchant began with a love of locally crafted beer and the people behind it. We wanted to bring that discovery to Langley: a place where you could explore the flavours of BC, enjoy a meal made from scratch and feel welcomed by people who care.
Our guiding principle is simple: We Champion BC. Behind our bar, every beer, cider, wine and spirit comes from British Columbia. Each represents people who have put their time, talent and livelihoods into making something worth sharing.

Our commitment to BC goes well beyond the taps. Every spirit behind our bar comes from British Columbia, giving you a chance to discover the independent distillers creating exceptional drinks close to home.
Explore a whisky or gin tasting flight, try a cocktail featuring local spirits or ask us to introduce you to a BC alternative to your usual order. From a refreshing Lavender Collins to a carefully chosen sipping whisky, there’s plenty to get curious about.

BC’s cider makers give us plenty to explore, from crisp, dry apple ciders to creative blends featuring pears, berries and other local flavours.
